 VITROCELL® for 12-well inserts / 12 Titanium
 
 
 
  Cultivation base module

The module is made of electropolished titanium. It it designed with three compartments for 12-well cell culture inserts and is fully autoclavable at 20 min./121 Deg. C. Using a special adapter set, the module can also be used for 24-well cell culture inserts. Constant temperature of the unit is assured by a regulated flow of temperature controlled water through the module. 
The medium is supplied individually for each well compartment. Medium exchange can be performed on a continuous basis using a precision medium pump. 
This module is famous for durability and is available as well in stainless steel.
 
Aerosol exposure top

A tight connection between the cultivation base module and the aerosol exposure unit is ensured by special sealing and connection mechanism.
The inlets are available in Teflon, stainless steel or stainless steel with VITROGLIDE surface treatment for lowest adhesion results.
The aerosol inlets are connected to the aerosol generation/ dilution system and the respective outlets to the vacuum pump. The aerosol exposure top has an in/outlet for the heating water circuit.
 
 
Controlled inlet flow

The aerosol exposure top has specially designed inlets for optimal distribution and particle deposition.
