Cultivation base module for high throughput
The module is made of electropolished stainless steel. It it designed with six compartments for 12-well cell culture inserts and is fully autoclavable at 20 min./121 Deg. C. Medium level can be controlled exactly via the transparent reference window. Using a special adaptor set, the module can also be used for 24-well cell culture inserts. Constant temperature of the unit is assured by a regulated flow of temperature controlled water through a special heating plate. The medium is supplied by gravimetric method out of a bottle or using a syringe. This module is famous for durability.
Aerosol exposure top
A tight connection between the cultivation base module and the aerosol exposure unit is ensured by special sealing and connection mechanism. The inlets are available in Teflon, stainless steel or stainless steel with VITROGLIDE surface treatment for lowest adhesion results. The central aerosol inlet is connected to the aerosol generation/ dilution system and the respective outlets to the vacuum pump.
